On July 17th I got the thrill-esque highlight of the exchange year seen so far!
We were motor Paraglyden! I think that's pretty much the coolest thing I've ever done ^ ^ I also really thought that I had a little more scared, but somehow this was the launch went so fast that I missed completely, make me shortly after take-off in the thing that I had in the back "clean fix" (I can describe the apparatus is now somehow bad). But has also earlier worked out. And the view was just indescribable! We had perfect weather and flew right on the coast across the sea, that was really a beautiful backdrop! At some point the guy who sat behind me then the engine out and makes us somehow steered with the wind, then we are just a little piece of the countryside. On landing, I had just a bit of heart palpitations because I thought we could still be a whole piece of "race" would have, but somehow it was full then the landing point and suddenly I was already back on solid ground.
On the same evening, Anna and I then also a 夏 祭り (summer festival) down. Since then there was yummy tako-yaki and a beautiful fireworks! Oh, and then another かき氷 (crushed ice with tasty syrup over it). Then we are rumgefahren then a bit with the car to the 国際 通り (famous shopping street here in Okinawa in Naha, etc. with lots of tourist shops). Which is indeed quite long and we had never seen her in the dark, but it was still going on and what really is so beautiful at night.
Otherwise, we were at the weekend the town red with 编 集 (film-cutting) of the thesis project, with all others have indeed kept out and cunningly. It was really a whole lot of work, we sat at the WE total of 26 hours to also in part because we had to put everything under subtitle (because some of the Chinese, for example because of their accent so badly understood).
The Monday went for it then top it, which was in fact free.
Monday night we were finally ready and I'm right next to the pub because of the (eiken Film Club) 映 研 on the night his (successful) participation in the Sport-Fest/Wettbewerb (of Round off several Uni-Zirkeln/Clubs) added.
Thursday was the last 発 表 会 (presentation of project work). Anna and I were very excited, whether it would arrive in the end also good because we just purely put so much effort and is extremely well then yes, eventually losing the "objective" view of how the result actually works. Also had (of course) then the two of us also hold a brief "Introduction" before the film was then shown. We have then a little bit マンザイ (Comedy) - included as standard.
In the end, everything is very well received! People have laughed a lot and really we were totally relieved!

On the same evening, we celebrated the end of the project work will also in the pub (when 打ち上げ ). And although our new Japanese class so far was not as funny as the last semester, this time was just funny death ... Anna and I were (probably because of all tension and stress, which were dropped at a time) even before we dated Alcohol have noticed something rather silly ... ^ ^ Especially with the French and the Taiwanese people in our group (who have been drinking quite a lot), we totally had a lot of fun. It was definitely one of the funniest evenings in the pub, which I had been here!
The next day, the film club I have the whole then shown again. And fortunately, it is also well received since. It does indeed make a difference when all the people that appear in the film does not know - and of course, may an amateur project of technical not keep up with the film club, so I was there once again a little excited. Achso well, and I had already quite a few embarrassing scenes of myself with it ...
On Saturday after we went to the 撮 影 (filming) one of the film club. As we drove even quite up to the north and it was climatically a real challenge to survive ... from 8 am to 10 throughout the evening without air conditioning! If it had been on the day not at least relatively windy, I would not believe I survived ... But the 撮 影 was quite interesting because we have since turned in as a super-small family shop. So that's really just a family house, the NEN front but very small shops have it. And the "actors" in the scene was then a student and a 沖縄 の お ばあちゃん (Okinawa Omi? Who are always so sweet and cute!)
On Sunday after we went to my first beach party! With a group of about 15 people, and Japanese exchange students, it was already going on at noon. We have we settled down in the tree shade. Much has been cooked, talked, swam a bit ... I'm also there for the first time with T-shirt above the bikini in the water - quite adapted from Okinawa, which make here that is all. For one, I think so too, because Japanese women are kind of embarrassing bikinis (too liberal, for example, Japanese women wear so. Otherwise not even tops with cut-out ...) but the main reason is simply the sun. I'm already been determined more than 2 months only on creams, lotions, creams .... and burn me still sometimes. Sun screen must be easy, because I usually burn the scalp ... (Use the BTW, almost all Japanese women). Well anyway back to the T-shirt in the water. One feels as German as defined quite strange because you would in Germany simply declared to be totally crazy, because I felt at first a bit バカ っぽい (idiotic), but if you look, are the people who go swimming without clothes only real Americans, and some children.
way, there's poisonous jellyfish in Okinawa, as I found out, so we must unfortunately also the most beautiful beaches Swim only in relatively small due to large network of protected areas to go.
So ... what's happened this week ...
Oh yes, I finally met with my former tandem partner Saori and we are GEMÜ ; furnishings down to the cafe and have talked quite a while. It did really well because I could finally once again a bit 深い talk (deep / serious?) With a Japanese woman. The "average Japanese" and I fit that is somehow not so well together, may be a partially false impression, but the majority seems to me (at my age) but still somewhat superficial / un-adult.
Oh, and there were of course delicious cakes, Myam! (Chocolate ^ ^)
On Friday, the first was our final test. Was largely true in order and sometimes a bit nasty difficult.
before yesterday (Saturday) I was in with Anna again on ドライブ (car-trip) south move. The goal was the famous ニライカナイ 橋 (Niraikanai Bridge), which is totally long and curved, but it goes over the land has a wicked nice view of the sea. After that we then drove to the "Round1" (Game Center) and have プリクラ (Puricula "these colorful little machine images) shot. Achso daanach and we went just over the highway GEDU because even now for a month is finally free in Okinawa! (May be conditions for ger mans name but not highway, top speed is 80 kmh, that's really a joke ...)
Today I was with a jp. Friend and friend of his nerve on the 国際 通り (the famous tourist shopping street in Naha), because since a エイ サー Event ("EISA" okinaw.Volkstanz with drums) was - 10,000 participants from various Eisa associations.
Eisa I may become totally happy! I just love these traditional Okinawan Sounds of music, the drums, the outfits, the whole atmosphere! And it's just great, to what extent that is valued in Okinawa - in Germany we have it not so in any case with traditional things ...
Well we are just so even on the whole 国际通り (and it's really long), have in a side street is still totally delicious 紅 芋 シェイク ("beni-imo" Shake are beni-imo this sweet red potatoes from Okinawa) drunk We later set in a cafe and then another of the Japanese 琉 大 (Ryukyu University) made. Then we went home and ate slowly on my way Chinese evening.
